Meet the Board: Cody Glenn, Climax, SK
Cody is the fourth generation to manage the land on his family’s farm in south-western Saskatchewan. A proud resident of his small community, Climax, Saskatchewan, Cody wears multiple hats in the agricultural landscape. Re-elected in 2025, Cody first joined the SaskBarley Board of Directors in 2022 and has held the position of Chair since 2024.

As a certified seed grower, Cody is always on the leading edge of new and upcoming varieties including malt and feed barley, green peas, durum, and lentils. He founded Southline Ag in 2016, a custom farming and grain handling company driven by a mission to provide products and services that leave a lasting impression for future generations.

Established with a focus on custom harvesting to support local producers, Southline Ag expanded its operations over the years. Today, it provides a full suite of grain handling and grain cleaning for both local seed and international export. Southline also specializes in handling malt and feed barley for export markets.
His widespread involvement in various aspects of agriculture, from production to distribution, positions Cody as a seasoned voice in the barley industry. With insights garnered from hands-on experience, Cody is eager to continue to contribute to the industry’s growth and sustainability, emphasizing the importance of empowering growers and fostering stronger connections across the barley value chain.
