Harvest Sample Program – Get A Free Assessment Of Your Grain’s Quality
Did you know that Canadian farmers are eligible for a free grain sample from the Canadian Grain Commission, as part of its annual Harvest Sample Program?
Farmers that signup for the program will receive a kit in the mail to mail in their grain sample. Once it’s submitted, you will be sent data that you can use when marketing and delivering your grain, such as unofficial grade, protein and oil content, and deoxynivalenol (DON) levels (depending on the crop).
By sending in your grain samples after harvest, you will also contribute to helping market Canadian grain, evaluating our grain grades and research that benefits producers. Learn more about the program here.
